Before you continue to read this news update, I would like to inform that there have been rumors of the game being leaked. Radical Entertainment has confirmed that this is not true. So if you find any files related to the game or consisting of the title Prototype 2 PC/Xbox/PS3 free download, it's a fake. So, don't go around Radical's Facebook or twitter asking for passwords or product keys after you download those files from filesharing sites or torrents..
Another edition[]
Well, today Radical announced a new edition for Prototype 2, the Blackwatch Collector's Edition. The collector's edition consists of a hardbound art-book, complete with all the official artwork of the characters and infected of Prototype 2.
This edition also consists of Colossal mayhem DLC which includes two skins for Heller, a warp vortex ability and thermobaric boomstick missile launcher. They have also added a voucher which offers a 20% discount for Prototype related merchandise. And to add on top of this, the collector edition will also include the RadNet content along with the game's official soundtrack. (Seems Bestbuy got the worst pre-order bonus..) center|600px
Although it hasn't been announced if this edition will be available for the delayed PC version. There hasn't been any further news about the delay either, except Radical stating that pre-order of PC version will get access to RadNet.

Another trailer has been released through IGN, explaining about Heller's time away from his family and what was happening while Mercer tore through the city in search for truth, from the perspective of a normal citizen of NYC.. center|600px
Comics[]
The first issue of the three part comic was released today. The Anchor, details the exploits of Alex Mercer after he saved New York from being nuked.

Gameplay[]
And finally, a gameplay preview of Prototype 2 was leaked recently, however it has been removed by the uploader. This gameplay consisted cutscenes probably from the first 10-15 minutes of the game.

In a recent poll posted on the main page of this wiki, I noticed that out of 50 people, 32 are planning on buying the game after it has been releases. As I do not know the reason each person has for this (sure they have valid/personal reasons), I would suggest them to pre-order and have an opportunity to obtain free DLCs. As much as you might hate DLCs or exclusive stuff, do you really want to wait until the price drops and buy only the game with no extra content? Well I hope those 32 gamers change their mind after watching the Collector edition content..
