Pilots are basic soldiers in Prototype and Prototype 2.
Overview[]
Outfitted the same in Blackwatch and the Marines, pilots wear woodland camo fatigues, a kevlar vest and a pilot helmet with a shaded visor. Usually, they are unarmed. In Prototype 2, they receive a visual update and are now outfitted in the same color scheme as Blackwatch, USMC Pilots in the second game have been overall replaced with Blackwatch Pilots, making them more common than their USMC counterpart.
Combat[]
Pilots do not pose a threat on their own - they are usually either lightly-armed with a pistol (in case of Prototype) or unarmed (in case on Prototype 2). However, most of them pilot vehicles, from AH-64 Apache gunships to M1 Abrams tanks, so they are foes not to be reckoned with. If a Pilot is on the ground and armed, he uses a pistol, which is an extremely weak weapon.
