I been wondering what other types of Offensive or Defense Powers will James Heller have besides the Tendrils? Sure Tendrils are cool and all but in order to keep the game fresh, I think they need to add more powers. Like a power where you turn your right arm into a bio-organic gun that shoots spikes at your enemies but at the same time is limited and has a regeneration timer so you won't just be using that all the time to attack instead of your Whipfist and/or military hardware. Maybe Heller can have an axe-like power too. I'm taking inspiration from Jugo from Naruto (whoever watches or reads Naruto will know what I'm talking about) Also for the Defensive powers, maybe he can have one that erupts spikes from his body like a pufferfish or porcupine everytime an enemy grabs him or a large group of Infected surround him similar to how the enemies surround Kratos in the God of War games. I think it be cool if he had at least one or two more Offensive powers and one more Defensive power. Who else agrees?BlackGhost91 06:50, October 22, 2011 (UTC)

Unlike from the first game, the offensive powers are not always effective. In Prototype we could use claws against a tank and still damage it, but in P2 it's highly ineffective. They've made sure, that you use a lot more tactic to attack an enemy. In the two demos Radical has displayed, Hammerfists has two devastators; one which is activated after a series of continuous attacks. Second one is an aerial attack, similar to Mercer's divebomb but with the effects of a devastators.
As for defense, Heller has dual shields which when activated can deflect missiles. Blackwatch soldiers seem to be using laser to target their enemies, when deployed instant protection, works even when fighting hunters.

I'm hoping for at elast two more powers for each category which are Offensive and Defensive. I mean I can tell that Tendrils and all the powers will get old the more you use it. I mean I do love all the abilities and all but keeping a game fresh is most imporant. The Hammerfist has a more passive devastator compared to P1. The groundspike seems faster and works well with the fists. I'm pretty sure there will be larger-scale ones that you can activate when you reach Critical Mass. The claws are not meant to be used on Armor anyway though it was most likely because they weren't upgraded.BlackGhost91 09:30, October 22, 2011 (UTC)

So far I like the new devastator like powers hey have displayed. Maybe there is more to come. The developers always mention that even when the game is released, their will be new features they haven't revealed. --Zeus 03:01, October 23, 2011 (UTC)
